Once you have passed your Cyber Essentials our Assessor will send to IASME.

This involves ensuring that your responses to the assessment questions are accurate and complete.

IASME will send an email asking you to sign the declaration to validate the answers given before issuing the certificate.

The designated signatory, typically authorised to sign on behalf of the organisation, is responsible for completing this step.

The email will be sent from [email protected] and will be delivered to the email address inputted into the questionnaire.

If you do not see the email, check your spam or junk folder and ensure the provided email address is correct.

Step 1: Ensure Completion of the Declaration by the Signatory

Before your certificate can be issued, the declaration must be signed by the designated signatory. The email will be sent to the specified signatory and will come from [email protected].

What You Need to Do

  1. Check the designated signatory's email inbox: Look for the email.

  2. Complete the declaration: The designated signatory should follow instructions to sign the declaration.

To view the email address, click view on the questionnaire

Ensure that the email entered matches the one for the signatory designated for the certification process.

Step 2: Receiving Your Certificate

After signing the declaration, the certificate will be sent to the registered email address. Make sure the primary contact's email is accessible.

Actions to Take:

  1. Check Your Inbox: Search for an email from the certification provider.

  2. Find the Attachment: Your Cyber Essentials certificate will be attached to the email.

Troubleshooting Missing Emails

If you are unable to locate the email:

  • Check your spam or junk folder.

  • Verify the email address provided during the questionnaire is accurate and active.

  • Contact the certification body if the email remains missing.

The first question refers to the Declaration details and the email address entered here is the email address that the Certificate will be sent to from [email protected]

Ensure the signatory is aware of their role and monitors their email for prompt action.
