This can sometimes happen, if it does then please use the troubleshooting guide below:
Understanding the remediation process and the time required for updates to reflect is crucial. After completing remediation actions, the system requires time to process and reflect the changes accurately.
What time has elapsed since the patches were applied? If this is within the last 4 hours, please allow more time. The scan Engine usually updates within 4 hours, but can occasionally be longer to update the information in the portal. Additionally, note that the system refreshes device and vulnerability data visible on the dashboard approximately every 24 hours, even though scans are performed automatically in intervals of around 3-4 hours. This update cycle ensures accuracy and consistency in the reflected results, as the system is designed to process updates only after the agent completes its cycle.
if update was more than 4 hours, but vulnerabilities are still showing, download a fresh scan report If after 4 hours the portal has not been updated, navigate to the Cyber Intel section under Scan Reports in the Citation Cyber portal. Click LAUNCH REPORT, provide a name for the report, and create it. The report will take about 2–3 minutes to generate. Once completed, download the report to update vulnerability information across Cyber Intel. This provides on-demand visibility into device vulnerabilities.
Has the Cloud Agent Been Reporting? Sometimes due to internet issues, the cloud agent may not report back with the latest information regarding a device. Kindly navigate to Device List and then to Agent Summary, and check when last the agent checked in, it shouldn’t be more than a day as long as the device has a stable internet connection.
If these two things have been done, but still the vulnerabilities are showing, please send a message to the support team in messages and ask to speak to a human.
